Phew.....the beginning of a new school term, and we have finally survived the first week. When Friday arrived, I finally began to really totally understand what is the pertinent meaning of TGIF!!!
The first week, as with the start of all things, is always the most crucial, I imagine - to resume our "GO" mode, and pick up something left behind since the last 6-8 weeks (as the "vacationing" began after the exams before the school term actually ended in November). With each new year, the gradual addition to my maturity (ahem...) increases the hardship of getting into the gears (when bones are fraying faster than before), the mood (especially when depleting hormones [as opposed to raging ones] ride high or neigh :d), the action (at the stage of life where mind is willing but body reluctant!) and the heat (not from being hot, mind you, but rather from the sun which ultimately does the kind of undesired wonders to my skin).... and to get back on track to what used to be....
Having said that, once the train is on track, the schedules shall fall into place and life will proceed as routine yet again. The derailment was all but temporary, though absolutely necessary. Life is what we want to make out of it, and all is not impossible after all. With robust jocundity, I shall embrace my functions and take all opportunity to work on something productive whilst being idle. That's a nice thought to implement - idle productivity :D
The most wonderful thing though that I realised this year is that my children are fully supportive as well as helpful, and working hard towards their independence. They have matured into delightful assistants, especially with a good example set by the elder child. I feel gloriously blessed.
I have no resolutions for the year; though I have some inkling of wishes to be fulfilled and done, I have yet to set out any plan which I believe shall be performed in due time when the time is right. All in all, 2008 was a good year with good results, and 2009 has started along fine and slow but will be steady and good too, with the Chinese New Year creeping up soon.
I anticipate something good to report by the next time I blog despite the fact that I don't know when in heavens that will be... ^__^
